Back from the mountains

Tim; I know what you mean. I to want some of that. It's never close here and the mountains just keep getting higher each year.It's amazing how they have grown over the years. LOL

I dont know about the mountains but i hope there wasnt as much ice, this year, as there was last year when me and JW were up there..Hope ya had a good season..Didnt get to make it up this year..

Hey Huck; How ya been man? We missed you this year in Kan. Co. We had a ball on the one we found. Nice chase and tree. The first week was a mess up here and all the big boys went in. Those little fellows sure test your dog power Did you guys have a good season? Haven't heard much from Clay Co. thus far. See ya

we had a pretty good season, like you we let several little ones go. Dont quote me on the numbers but i think as a group we treed like 22 and killed 13 or 14. Biggest one dreesed 292. Lindsy (JWs wife) killed one the second week..We let one of the biggest bear, i have ever seen in a tree, get away from us the second day of season..Trying to get a shooter in, had it treed two different times and didnt get it killed..

Huck ; I'm glad Lindsy got one. Maybe now she will let up on JW Heck he can take it . Sounds like you did ok to me. How's the pups doing? JW and Tiny's.

The pups are doing ok, the little gyp of JWs can really move..Tinys pup is running good with the other dogs.

Hey Gene, Tiny just called and told me that his pup made it today from start to finish. I think its the first one for his pup, from start to finish..

Huck he called last night and booked another pup. Also said he loved that one.

Gene, a few years ago Tiny and I ran a couple days a week and all weekend, we hunted all the time..The last couple years he hasnt really ran a lot, I think he is getting back into it. I hope he does, we have treed several bear. I have been running by myself since he slowed down.

Huck; Yea, I think Tiny has gotten the fever again. A good young dog will do that to a man. I hope he continues to hunt. I enjoyed hunting with him last year.
