Bear hunting Plotts..What you Hunt?

Perky I'm still running (The Pot Licker strain). Treed a nice 300+ yesterday. Kicked it out for another run but it got away that time.Say hi to AC for me. Swervin I got your back in case old ugly get's on you to hard. LOL

I really like to read about you fellows bear hunting and seeing all the pictures. Maybe one day I can see if my plotts have what it takes to hang with you fellows

Well I got some of them POK-E-WANUS pot lickers here too...For some reason they really like them black fuzzy BARS...lol...Perkey

They really like those brown and cinnamon colored ones too

Guys I will try and get a few photos put on my web page this week of some we have treed. It's hard to get any decent picture with the leaves and the early hour. Plus most are high in big Hemlock pines. But a few turned out decent.

Sounds good Gene...Our chase season was a lil' slow this year...Didn't really start catching bear until near the end of the season...Had alot of good chases though...Perkey

You mean you guys really run a Bear with Dogs???? & the Bear accually climbs up in a tree?????? I never heard of the such, please tell me more

Tommy, I am glad Ole Major has made you a good young Hound, he is the youngest dog alive out of ole Bearclaw, as this was Bearclaw's last litter before being killed by a Pocahontas County Bear.... How's the young female I brought you last year doing? Her mama still hasn't came back in heat because I am going to raise another bunch of them, or at least the males will be half brothers and we shouldn't have any short ones this time ......... I hope all is well in Va. and send me some pictures of your dogs this season for my Article.....Biggun

Me and Chuck have old (Jason) Shadow turning the crank. He is finally getting in shape and making every tree here lately. Be it a few minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! behind Ginger, Jill, Chopper and Poncho. LOL
