Shane ~ How's the longtail hunting been going over there for you this year?

It has been pretty slow for most but the real cat hunters are doing ok there has been a terrible number of lions killed the last few years. been pretty hard to find a track for me been out 8 times ( I know not much) and only found 2 tracks. Had some buddies put my dogs on a couple more lions but thats about it.
next year all my kids go to school all day I will be able to put more time on the mountain. Atleast that is my plans and hopes.

Shane, i have never been cat hunting and the DNR says that there are no cats in our state but we found these tracks this past weekend..just wondering what you think they are..

It is definately not a cat toes are to square, also the way those feet are stepping are not right ( generaly ) for how a cat walks . But id is a very large canine in my opinion

Thanks guys, i wasnt sure. The only thing that confused me was how big it was, and i am pretty certain that we have some cats here.

Huck; Them sure ain't Cat tracks IMO. I would say K-9. Did you pack on them?

Gene, no we didnt cut on them..a couple guys walked them out and picked up some scat. They took it to the DNR for testing. These tracks were hugh. I thought they were to big for a canine, i dont know. Tiny and Cam found the tracks a took pictures of them, i have some more pics i just didnt post them.

Maybe YOU TOO, have some good ol' Wolves over there!
