What do you consider back east? I'm in Minnesota and cats are what I like to get after.

Allen,
I was hoping to find someone pretty close to PA, but that's OK. How are your dogs doing? Are you the one that had or were looking for D. Smith bloodline?

Re: Eastern Bobcat Hunters?
I have a couple of good young prospects that I am looking forward to getting some more cats under their belt this winter. The bobcat season here opens November 28 so I have a little while yet before I can get after them. Coon season opens tomorrow so I will run them some to get the dogs in shape.
I am not the guy that was looking for the D. Smith bloodline.

Allen,
What strain of Plotts are your cat prospects? I've been on the search for a young prospect for cats this winter and haven't found anything yet.

Re: Eastern Bobcat Hunters?
I have 2 females that were a year old last April. They are not littermates. I got one of them (Izzy) from Scott Rosson out of his Cowboy X Stitch cross and she has been a pleasure to have. She was treeing coon with the old dogs at 5 months old and making bobcat races from start to finish at 7 months old. Last summer she was split treeing with the meat. The other one (Nova) is from James O'Sullivan in Canada. She didn't start as soon but is coming on real well now. She got a little cat running in last year but not as much as I would have liked. She doesn't care for coon much but likes cats and especially likes bear. Here are a couple of pictures from last summer coon hunting. Izzy has the blue collar and Nova has the purple one.
