Re: world hunt
Jesusjunky ~ I would say that the answer to that question would be WRLDNITECHGRNITECH Kansas Sizzlin Heat who was owned by Jim Cannon out of Kansas.
Jim's on this site, give him a shout through the PM to find out more.
As far as I know Heat is the only Plott to have won the World Hunt.
Hope this helps!
KEEP LOOKIN' UP Buddy!!

Re: world hunt
He most possibly could have. I just don't recall hearing of any Plott other than Heat doing it.
I know there are guys on here that are far more into the competition side of the coonhunting than I, that could say for sure.
Take it easy!

Re: world hunt
I knew someone that knew more than I on this subject could be of help.
Jim ~ I've had frozen water in the dogs buckets 3 of the last 4 days. So much for being warm here. It's dropped down to 24 those 3 nights.
Only supposed to get down into the mid 30's for the nxt 10 I guess. The rain is coming in this next week pretty heavy they say. WE NEED IT!
Guess what that means as it travels across the plains.
Take care guys!

Re: world hunt
Irv, if your getting rain we are going to get snow, at least that is what is predicted, I should not complain the northern states are worse off than us with the cold and snow, going into this winter they said a wet one but not cold, this has been the coldest on record for a long time and it was a short season of comfortable hunting conditions, my old buddy Gil doesn't take that freezing cold temps as good anymore and I have a hard time hearing the walkie talkie with the heater on high in the truck,

Allen and friends, I know my stories are getting old for most of us and not wanting to just rerun old tracks but I will send them to you if you want them for some of the newer viewers that have not read and heard them stories to put on this NPHA site, if it stays this cold I will have to write some new ones and they might have some things about Irv and Allen in there so be carefull what you wish for.
