PLOTT DAYS 2009 WAS A GOOD ONE!!

I have to say that my wife and I had a blast again this year @ the 2009 NPHA Plott Days! When we left there on Sunday morning, we then traveled to my Dad's place in Virginia, where we stayed until this past Friday night (Aug 7, 2009.)

We left Virginia @ 8:10 P.M. Friday night and arrived home, (California) @ 3:00 A.M. Monday. We stopped in Sheridan Wyoming and slept for 5 hours or we would have made it back sooner.

We had a blast coon hunting in Virginia with my Dad! My wife hadn't been before. She said she's got the bug now!

dang irv if you took 80 all the way to wyoming when you went thru iowa you was only 6 miles from my house.

He came within 29 miles of my home to. I guess he had enough of me at Plott Days. Swervin we made saurkrout yesterday. Ten gallon man.Your wife missed it again. Maybe next year

Perkey ~ I was thinking about trying to find you down there, but we ended up leaving a couple of day s early. We had to get back here to go to work. Maybe next time for sure! Heck I have a Brother there in Blacksburg somewhere too.

Fred ~ We went 64 to 70. We switched to 80 in Colorado.

G-Man ~ I hinted and hinted that I wanted to come by and show my wife that fine looking bunch of Brindles you have as well as that hunting camp, but you didn't bite on it. Heck, I ain't one for inviting myself.

G-Man ~ Heck Buddy, I know we're welcome over there! I was just razzin' you a little. As I said earlier, we didn't have the time since we left out a couple days early.

Man I saw a NICE BEAR on the road in my hunting area on my way home!! Probably 3-400. Nice Cinnamon colored Bear!!

I must admit, my Wife and I received 1 of the plaques. FOR TRAVELING THE FARTHEST DISTANCE! It was 2110 miles.
For the life of me, "I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE DID IT!"
Seriously, WE HAD A GREAT TIME!! There are A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE THAT ATTEND THIS FAMED EVENT!

Congrats Irv. Looks like you acquired a good bit of hardware.

Irv looks like the dogs had a terrific time as well.
