Anyone been treeing any?
Took my 2 Pocahontas dogs to Braxton tonight and was able to get 1 up a tree on the outside with my male dog. Put it out to them and they jumped on it like a fat girl on a box of Valentines chocolate. Didn't get any pics forgot I had the camera in the dog box back on the atv. There will be another time though.

Re: Anyone been treeing any?
We had a hunt Fri night. 3 casts had coon seen with two coming away as pluss point cast wins. It wasn't looking good for a while. The first hour, one dog had 600 - another one 50- and some circle and mine had 100- and some circle. The second hour proved to be better. Struck, treed, and saw the coon on the next drop.
The next drop we had about 20 min to go and could have went either way with my dog and a english dog.
Mine got struck first, but the English got treed first. As we got in closer they wound up split, about thirty yards apart. This made it if we both had coon he won, But his was a den and no coon, and mine had the coon in a small beech. Put me on top with no time left. That's the kind of hunts I like right down to the wire.
Last night after I got home from work. We went out for two drops, with one rough track into a den.

Sounds like a nice hunt David. The coons don't seem to be moving very well down here. It also looks like no hunting for me for a few day my male dog has no voice now. I guess too much barking last night at the tree?
