help! need cold nosed plott

I am into running coons and bobcats with hounds. recently I have purchased a pocahantas pup who is 17 weeks old to add to my pack. I love the plott hound breed and I am trying to find which kennel I am goind to buy my next pup/dog. I want the coldest nose known to man and the grittiest gamecrazy plott ever seen. I only know of a couple of plott lovers so this is why I'm here trying to get more options and resons why I should buy from whomever.

thanks Irv for the reply, I just got lucky scoring this one. I had to drive up to portland maine to pick him up. Could you help me out on how to get into touch with this pocahontas kennel. I would like to pick up two more plotts before the summer is out. Still pretty new to all this computer stuff, and I apreciate any guidence that i can get cause if you couldn't tell I'm also new at trying to do this compotition stuff also. but it sounds like fun and the 10 year old boy wants to learn and see how its done.

Jim ~ Just go to pocahontasplotts.com There's a lot to see there for sure. There's a number for which you can call the young feller' yourself.

Not a more fair dealin person will be found than Mr. gene Walker!! Ask around and you'll see! I know you won't get one by summer for sure. That man has a list a mile long. I'd get on it if you want to get one anytime in the future!

hey Irv thanks for all the help. Gene actually contacted me and had answered all my questions about his kennel. I also posted a pic of my pup shotgun, I'll have better later but this is him. Still learning this computer stuff.

Eugene does have a good thing going up in ol' WVA but there are also many other blood lines that have produced game catchable Plotts....I have some Pocahontas Plotts that suit me well and I also have some Ganette and a Crockett gyp that does well for me to...So what I'm saying is ther are many of breeds of Plotts out there that have proven them selves....NPHA or the message board doesn't single in on one main strain but the Breed of Plotts as Whole....Hope you find what your looking for.....Perkey

thanks perkey, I apreciate the information and am looking to find another blood line also and one that I am trying to look into is blackwater or something like that. I just want a really good gennetic bloodline that has a very cold nose and more grit than most people want. They have got to be extremely gamecrazy!!!LOL
