As part of our upcoming exhibit on Plott hounds and hunting we'll be running a blog through our Digital Heritage Project using the history of Plott hounds and their migration to the western part of the state as a way to help with the 4th grade social studies curriculum. Some of you with kids might enjoy keeping up with the blog and the adults will enjoy the Digital Heritage Project postings for the older members.

The exhibit will open in October 2009 so I hope some of you can come to Western Carolina University at the Mountain Heritage Center and see the exhibit on Plotts and hunting.
