Re: Who hunts cats
I'm guessing you are refering to Bobcats. I don't hunt many Bobcats but I do hunt lions.

Mr. Worthington ~ Where are you located and what strain of Plotts are you hunting? Just curious.
Re: Who hunts cats
I live in Idaho and hunt Utah, Idaho, Nevada and bear in California. I started with and still have Plotts from Steve Mohr. I have been breeding dogs from that strain and buy a pup or two from Mr Mohr.

Re: Who hunts cats
I have not ran lions or bobcat much the last 2 years but things are changing and should be able to get more time in the woods soon.
I live in Idaho and have 2 Ursus dogs .

I was actually refering to both. I do have a preference for bobs though.

I ran mostly lion last year but hoping to run more bobs this year. I run in central Utah.

Re: Who hunts cats
Glad to have you guys on the site. I've heard a lot of good thing about the Ursus bred dogs, to the best of my knowledge though I've never hunted with one. So far I haven't done any cat hunting but hope to soon.

If you get out to Idaho look me up and we will go tree a few. I have some of the best lion hunting in these parts. The best thing it is all private so we can sleep in and take our time.

Marshall ~ I may take you up on that offer sometime. Gas is back down to about $3.00 again I might be able to afford to go somewhere! You don't think Shane will get mad do you?
Re: Who hunts cats
Alan,
I'd like to go out there too. Maybe we can tag team and get one going sometime. I treed a small bob last year with Joe. Let it go to get bigger. although he was supposed to be coon hunting I'll take that kind of off game for him now and then
