She was a nervous pup, stubborn too. I've had stubborn plott's some more than others. All have been hunting machines, none nervous though.

This one has her own thing going on, maybe she'll decide to do it on her own terms whatever that means.

Started her on the ranch, we'd sit under a tree w/ her on a lead and I'd watch the deer while she would turn her head away. Then tried off lead, but she always wants to hide or run as far away as possible. Moved onto the trails, she's been ok, not great, when she senses something around, usually, bear or deer ,she bails out in the other direction. Last week was charged by a bear while deer hunting, she split out on me and was found 2 miles away from camp. Does ok on coons and rabbits and has gone after the occassional fox when given a chance, gets good and mouthy, otherwise, stays silent on the big game.

Staying dedicated and not giving up. on her, will keep working at it.

Any other ideas out there???
