Post  DAVID KEENAN on Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:30 am

This ole man was a niceun. when he came out of a tall pine with a thud he didn't shrink.
40 1/2 inches long and 23 pounds
I knoiw there are bigger ones, but for our area he's big.
Check out the ring around his neck. It went all the way around.

lets see some BIG ones.

Ole ringo was just not perfoming in the shows anymore so we had to find a nasty night and let him run his las mile and he just had to get up in a tall pine and meet MR. LR

Actually we were very supprised when it hit the ground. He didn't seem that big way up in the tree.

Yea we made it fine. It wasn't to bad really just a little bit from the smokey bear sign , thru big run. But thats always there. I saw part of the black rug the Boxley truck made. I thank you from the club for the trophies.
Charlie gave us a lot too. Tessa said next time we come over fire up the grill with some of your Monster Burgers. Razz

Cooney; Yea that old Blackie should have stayed in the tree HUH.That has to be a frightful sight to come around the turn and see all your dogs and a bear balled up in the middle of the road with traffic going in all directions. Not knowing a dump truck had actually killed the bear just ahead of the dogs. Sad
