Re: SURE ISN'T
I noticed that too. Not a lot going on. Guess we could just stay in contact this way, huh? I try to get on here two or three time a week. Sometimes there's nothing new. I like reading waht others are saying and try to learn how this plott thing is done . lol Really I do enjoy keeping in touch with eveyone and this is one of the easy ways and in the mean time learn and enjoy. I better get for now we have three inches of new snow and rain and ice coming. Our club has a AKC hunt tonight. Last one turned out good. Nasty weather and three casts to of which produced coon in the wild, and not on buckets. Talk to ya later

Re: SURE ISN'T
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did have a hunt. Die hard three. Or maybe crazy three. Rain, Rain ,Rain ,Rain,
We did produce a coon though. The strike turned out to be the winner, as they got deep, over a ridge, and in the RAIN . When we got on top they were treed and had to split. So I didn't win, but we bushed one on a night that most would be under cover. Maybe next tuesday will be better weather. But listening to the weather man it's gonna straighten up a little the rest of this week, and get another round Monday.

Well Irv you control the side of your keyboard so no one is stopping you from posting new and interesting info to share with others on here...As for me myself since bear season has gone out I've been busy around the house and spending time with the family since I didn't get to do much of that during season....Most of the places in the country are having bad weather and there probably ain't much going on in the woods...But it all ain't about whats going on in the woods that matters...You've got over 100 posts so I don't think it would be hard for you to drum up a topic... ....Lets keep the negatives out and keep it positive on the best breed in the hunting world.....Perkey

It's to darn cold here to spend much time in the computer room. I'm staying by the fire By the way Swervin I took care of your dads deal today. Hope he likes it and maybe it will cheer him up.

Thanks Gene! I'm sure he'll like it. He goes in the Hospital Monday, and will most likely be in there close to a week I bet.
Perkey ~ I hate to hear myself rattle on and on or I could continue to write stuff constantly.
I'm talking about just what I said, NO ONE answering ? Updates on whats happening with certain events and such. Stuff that I have no way of knowing about.
You had I think 3 people wanting to know about their yearbooks.Did anyone answer? NO. I tried to answer it somewhat according to what I read in Biggun's column. That's all I could say about it.
Call it negative if you want. It's just fact.
Take it easy!

Re: SURE ISN'T
Irv,
Not much going on here in NW Iowa. Finally warming up a little but snow is too deep to hunt. We have the annual meeting of the Tri-State Coonhunters tonight. We have 3 clubs in this area, one in SD, one n MN and one in IA. We run a year long hunt and show points and give jackets to the high scoring dogs. I have to brag a little and say I won the hunt portion with my female CH Nite CH PR Doc's Plott Becky II (Sis). Not bad for a dog that just turned 2 in October.
She ain't perfect but I like her. She is out of Chad Barth's Rock dog and my female Becky that was shot and killed 2 years ago. I'm kind of proud.
I talked to Gary Cox about the year books and he didn't know much either. Said the last he had talked to Alan a couple of weeks ago he was working on them. I was told in November like Biggun was that we would hopefully have the year books by the first of the year. Hopefully we will have them soon.
Anyone else got any news?

Nothing much happening down this way either. The weather is like a rollercoaster, cold one week and warm the next Hunted with the new garmin astros last nite and man they are nice The only bad thing is it tells you how far you have to walk back to the truck when you get deep in the country Kinda puts you in a bad mood
Tim,
Pack up and come this way. The global warming theory must still apply down here Theres a better chance of it snowing in australia than down here

Hoop,
Global warming sure isn't here. I am heading to Louisiana in a couple of weeks for a little hog hunting. So, I do have that to look forward to.
