Traning Youg Plotts for Coon, Bear, and Pig
I know there are a lot of different ideas on how to train your dog, but I figured there are always new people out there that are new to the sport and like me got a young dog and needs to be trained. How do I train my dog to go from coon to bear and pig?

I am definitly no expert. but, if you have a dog that can already run and tree a coon, just take it and put it on bear tracks. Most (not all, but most) dogs that will run a coon will run a bear. just keep putting them on hot bear tracks, and/or lead them in to a few trees. Training them on hogs, for me, hasn't been that hard, put them in a bay pen a few times, and then put them in some fresh hog sign.
