Re: Crocket Dogs
Shane ~ I have a little Crockett X Pocahontas female, I call Reba.
Her mother was a full Crockett bred dog and her Daddy is Gene Walker's Cody II dog.
She'll be 3 in October and is a good little dog right now for her age.
Here are a few pics.
The Beginning, when she arrived December 2007.
Just a little older.
Here, Mr. Gene Walker is working the Bear Cage @ the 2007 NPHA Plott Days. Reba is giving it all she had on her first glimpse of a Bear (9 months old), along with my Beasly female.
Photo session @ NPHA Plott Days 2007. Reba won the Roll Cage event on Friday. She was the youngest Plott to place @ the 2007 NPHA Plott Days.
Reba, Tied back @ a Bear Tree in 2008.
Reba in the next two pics tied back @ Bear Tree in 2007.
Here's Reba on the wood, as she's teamed up with my Beasly female to win the Dual competition Treeing Contest @ a club here in CA.
Here's Reba in her first Bench Show. Showing as a Puppy.
Here she is standing in the middle.
I may try to get her bred next time to the Scout dog of Shane & Harley, mentioned above. Although he's all the way on the other side of the country. If not I'll breed her to Dan Tichenor's Cody II bred Osage dog. Osage is a littermate to my Magnum dog that I lost a couple of years back.
Take it easy!

Shane I bred my Crockett gyp the first part of the month to my Pocahontas male out of Bearclaw....He's part Poco and Ganette bred...The female is 100% Crockett and a fireball....If you ever get ahold of any Crockett blood I believe you like them...How's those Nabek dogs doing for ya?....Perkey

Re: Crocket Dogs
I got my start with crocket dogs and loved them, that full crocket crossed with cody II should work out very well. i used to have some out of crocket and cody, my buddy russell shelton still has one of them but she is 12 or 13 now and colored bout the same. i have a female now that i got from jerry gosnell, she's not full crocket but has crocket top and bottom, spike and grey boy, going to start her on bear this year. also hunt star mtn, pocohontas, and putting some Nimrods rocky top onyx into these so far they have hit the ground running. i believe you would be very satisfied with the crocket line.
